The Battle of The Lawyers. Amansie Nsroma Vs Amansie Bronii.
Interesting times ahead as Bekwai Constituency decides who leads them into getting development to our beloved constituency when the national cake is shared.
Obviously there has been tension surrounding the picking of nomination form and the submission the said form to being disqualified at vetting.
The Ashanti region, Kumasi to be precise is currently seeing works on inner city roads being done. Asokwa, Manhyia, Oforikrom and other municipalities.
Same as the Bekwai municipality in improving the movement within the constituency.
The Bekwai constituency is gradually seeing development and it is highly believed that it is a result of our current MP's contribution to national development.
The last four years of Lawyer Joseph Osei-Wusu has arguably been the best term of his 3-term run as an MP for the Bekwai constituency.
There comes a contender for the hot seat of the member of parliament for Bekwai in the personality of Lawyer Akwasi Amofah Agyemang affectionately called Amansie Bronii.
Lawyer Akwasi Amofah is coming from the background that a section of the constituency has been neglected and that Lawyer Joewise has been Bekwai centered.
Those sections of the constituency who feels neglected are one way or the other sided with Lawyer Akwasi Amofah and the vice versa for Lawyer Joseph Osei-Wusu.
Democracy which is widely accepted by New Patriotic Party believes in the the rule of law and the constitution of the party is held up in high esteem.
Fast forward lawyer Akwasi Amofah was disqualified on the grounds of his inactive status to the development of the party and that there is more room for improvement.
This brouhaha is a wake up call to our MP to set things up as people in the constituency sets high demands from the Member of Parliament.
For some of us, we believe that the 1st Deputy Speaker of Ghana's Parliament deserves another term considering his involvement in the development of the constituency since the NPP came into power.
In as much as we need development we equally don't have to be in a haste. The constituency has raised the MP thus far and we cannot afford to lose him now.
Fellow Ghanaian, my candid opinion.
